Hamaji Magazine | Rooibos, the south african red Gold

Hamaji is a beautiful, high-quality magazine dedicated to the art of traveling in Africa. Writers and photographers are fine connoisseurs of Africa. Hamaji Magazine not only reveals Africa through a more contemporary lifestyle but also presents to its readers the choices of some of the most unique personalities and gives a new sense to luxury, focusing of hidden gems, new location, mythical destinations…

I’m often contributing as an author to their magazine and share many of my adventures in Africa. About 3 hours driving from Cape Town, you can reach the border of the Bokkeveld, on the north part of the Cederberg. This region is famous for a special bush, from which you can make a specific tea: the red tea or the so called Rooibos. I spent a week with the community that grows and lives from this bush. Ome of their biggest richness that allowed them to become independent and survived in the middle of this arid environment.
