In French Polynesia, the prestigious wave of Teahupo’o is celebrated each year by hosting big surfing names. This year, the Raiatea Gliss’Festival welcomes other skiing disciplines such as the Va’a (canoe) and the Stand-up Paddle, as well as the classics: skate, roller, windsurf, fly board … The majority of the Raiatea Gliss’ Festival takes place in Tahiti, but part of the activities will take place in the capital of the Sous-Le-Vent islands, 40 minutes from Papeete in French Polynesia. From September 12th to 13th, the festival took place on the To’a Huri Nihi square in Uturoa, Raiatea. Here is the promotional video that I directed, for the edition 2015.
